The best thing about being a stay at home mom is being able to go to the kids' school programs, parties and field trips. Weston had been looking forward to his Halloween party for a while. And lucky enough, Ashton was on fall break so he was able to come too!

I had our nanny bring the twins down for a while and get in on the fun. They sang, danced and clapped with all of the songs. Weston was in heaven having them their. He made sure that everyone knew that they were his brothers!

It was a fun day and I am so thankful that I was able to share it with Weston.

Tuesday we were hearing warnings about a typhoon. The boys had a few auditions that evening, but the rain hadn't started yet. We made it to the first audition but by the time we left the typhoon was here! We had a 10 minute walk to the train and by the time we got there, we were soaked. We still had one more audition that we were going to try and make. By the end of the night we were wet and exhausted. Both of the boys' school was cancelled the next day so we thought the worst was yet to come.

The next morning we woke up to blue skies and some wind. Tommy called me from work and said that our good friends were thinking about taking their kids to Disney. They thought that it would be empty because of the typhoon. We thought that we would surprise the boys and go too!

I dressed the twins in some Mickey Mouse shirts that Cooper was given after his Disney photo shoot. The boys didn't even notice ;)  In fact, we told them that we were just going to Costco!

When we arrived at Disneyland, we told them the real plan and of course they were super excited!

Our day was so fun! The twins were really good to ride in their stroller and stay close to us when we got them out. They were able to ride on Pinocchio, Pirates of the Caribbean, and the train. They loved exploring in ToonTown and of course watching the parade :)

The older boys both rode anything and everything. They both loved Space Mountain the best. 

Virgenia would take the twins and walk around while we rode the rides with Ashton and Weston and our friends the Farmer's. 

We stayed until the park closed at 10. All around it was a great day and we can't wait to go back again!

Ashton and I had to eat lunch on the go....these are our favorite salmon onigiri 

Every year, the American compound that we live on hosts a "Friendship Day". It's a day where anyone outside of the compound can come and spend the day, eat great food and really just enjoy a big American celebration. 

The compound is very secure (guards at both gates) and you have to have permission to come onto it if you aren't  a part of the embassy community. So for outsiders, it is nice to come in and see our "home".

Ashton had an audition and then right after that a magazine job so we were gone from 11-3. Virginia took the babies around to watch the hula dancers and to meet the Sesame Street characters. Tommy and Weston entertained some of his Japanese friends and colleagues with different activities and parties. 

We all met up once Ashton and I got home and concluded our big day.

We were all exhausted from all of the fun, but had and exciting day!

Weston's birthday recognition at school

Since Weston's birthday is in the summer, we decided to celebrate it at school last Friday.

Nina, a friend from last year also had a summer birthday so we celebrated with her also.

Me and Weston made some cupcakes and decorated them with sprinkles.

The twins and Nana came with us to see Weston on his special day!

Weston loved showing Nixon and Cooper around his classroom. They even enjoyed a cupcake at Weston's table.

It was a fun afternoon and Weston enjoyed having another birthday!!
