Milk 10th ann. Tokyo Gallery in Collaboration with BMW

Ashton was part of Milk Japon's 10th anniversary Magazine. This has turned into more than we ever thought and are so happy. 

They now have a Gallery at a BMW showroom and a commercial showcasing a day in the life of these models. 

My sister was here for this shoot and we loved watching the kids walk the runway for the video.

Back to school. I love it and I hate it because I miss my boys!

Ashton has been in school for a week and a half, but today was Weston's first day.

As I was packing their lunches and snacks, I mentioned to Weston that I would miss him today. 

But he very happily reassured me that "he would be home soon!"

Our summer was busy and full and centered around the boys.

It will be nice to have some "me" time.

We are fortunate to have a wonderful nanny that the twins adore. She loves them like they were her own and we love that she spends so much time with them:)

She will make it possible for me to be the room mom in Weston's class this year!! and to spend time at each of the boys' schools.

So bring on this school year and whatever adventures it brings!

Ashton was chosen to be in the Tokyo Top Kids Collection fashion show back in June:) 

The show was on Aug. 22 and he and his friends did amazing. It was such a big production and Tommy and I were so impressed and proud.

We dropped Ashton off with his agent and the other kids at 7:45 in the morning. The kids only practiced 2 times before the show started at 1.

Ashton walked out and strutted his stuff and even did a cute pose at the end.

This was all in front of close to 5,000 fans, designers and photographers.

What a great experience for Ashton. We will never forget it!

Attempt #3--Success!!

On our way out the door to church on Sunday, I gathered everyone quickly to snap a picture. I always have good intentions to take a picture after church, but the second we are through the door, we are all peeling off our dress clothes. And of course we are all starving since church is from 10-1 so the pictures never happen. 

My expectations for this impromptu picture was low. We stuck the camera on a bookshelf, aimed and hit the timer. I am happy to say that our 3rd picture had everyone smiling in it! 

I love all of my boys:) And am perfectly happy being the queen in our house!

Just because

Oh what a day!

 Ashton's new tooth

 Little did we know that last Thursday would turn into such a crazy day. Ashton has had some wiggly upper front teeth for a couple of months ago. Unfortunately in June, one of them got hit pretty hard while he was in a jumpy house at a birthday party. We have been very careful of it because of all of his modeling jobs. He has been oh so careful with that tooth (even though is has been bumped a few times) and finally on Thursday I gave him the green light to wiggle it the rest of the way out.

At one of Ashton's Panasonic jobs, the casting agent gave me a great referral for a dentist who works with a lot of children models. She told me that he would understand that time was of the essence when it came to the turn around of the appliance.

Well, I have kept that number on speed dial in my phone since April and I had Tommy call and make the appointment since it was a Japanese office. 

The doctor gave him a special time to come in at 7pm to get his impressions taken. 

Since Ashton had a important music video job with Namie Amuro that was suppose to shoot today, the dentist told us that he would have the flipper ready to be fitted on Saturday at 11. I later got an email on Friday saying that the shoot date for the music video was postponed due to costume delays.

After the appointment we returned home just in time for Tommy to head out to play some basketball. About 10 minutes later I got a text saying that he was on his way home.

When he got here, he showed me his chin and I quickly knew that it needed stitches. I sent him and a very insistent Ashton off to the ER where they waited for 3 hours. 

5 very painful stitches later (they don't really believe in pain meds here) Tommy was feeling better, tired and ready to be home. 

I think we were all ready for Friday!
