Mixed feelings

I love this show. I have been with Grey's since the beginning. It's my show and I watch it every week.
I have to admit that I was a little shocked to see the musical episode last night. At first I wanted to laugh-especially when Dr. Hunt (a.k.a. weird looking red head married to Christina) broke into song. He just looked creepy. But as I watched and the show progressed I kind of enjoyed the twist of the episode.
Callie has an amazing voice. Hence the episode written around her and most solos given to her.
I don't think a musical Grey's Anatomy would be appreciated every week (I can't stand Glee. Yes, I really just wrote that) but this was shall we say, refreshing.
What did you all think?

**I am really behind on downloading/editing pictures, and postings. More to come about Grandma Bells visit, Cheer nationals in Anaheim, pool time and more.

Yea I liked it but it was somewhat weird. I enjoyed Callie and Lexie singing but the others were just ok. Did you know that the actress who plays Callie (Sara Ramirez) was actually a big Broadway star (won a tony for her role in Camelot) and ABC just told her she could join any show she wanted so she came to Grey's? Maybe that's why they gave her a musical, haha.

Wow, I didn't know that. Now it makes a little more sense ha ha ha. Thanks for the info! Yes Lexie was enjoyable to listen to too. I really liked the 'stay' song that Dr. Bailey sang also.
