My aunt Judy(my mom Shar's sister) and I
Gorgeous Lohren, My cousin Tyson, and I
My beautiful Cousins Shaylee, me and Lacey
My cousin Talen and I

For those of you who know me well, you know of my "family" situation. When I was almost 14 months old, my mom Sharlene Hunt died suddenly of unknown causes at age 25, leaving me and my young dad, her 6 brothers and 3 sisters and of course her parents. I have been blessed to have good parents who have always taken the time to keep the relationship with that side of the family always open. When my mom died, relationships with my Hunt family didn't end-yes due to distance among other things I haven't seen them as much as I would like. But I have always cherished the times I do see them, and the talks and memories we make when we are together. That being said, this weekend was a very special one for me. My cousin Tyson and his beautiful bride Lohren were married in the Salt Lake City temple. I was able to fly out and witness that, and see all of my family. Tyson is my Aunt Judy's son, and Judy is my mom Shar's sister. I am the exact age now that Shar was when she was taken from us. You can only imagine how hard it is for my dad, grandpa, aunts and uncles to see me. I look so much like my mom that they often tell me it's like seeing a ghost. But it is also so special because it's like getting bits and pieces of my mom through all of them. The temple was especially great because it reminded me that families are forever, and that we would all see Shar (and my grandma that recently passed) again and be reunited! We were all overwhelmed with tears.

On a different note, Tyson and Lohrens wedding was amazing. Lohren is a beautiful, sweet, glowing person and I was so glad I got to meet her. I am excited for them and their new journey. In between the temple and reception I was able to go to lunch with my mom, and sisters at Cheesecake Factory. Later that night we headed to the reception, enjoyed great food, and visited with more family.

What a great weekend, and all without my boys! Tommy and the two little rugrats had a boys weekend and did great! I was so excited to come home to my house, boys, and of course beautiful California! Thank you everyone who helped get me to and from the airport, and shuttled me around.

I think we are in for a shock!

We have been enjoying extended afternoon trips to the park the last few days. The weather has been absolutely wonderful. The boys love running around, climbing, sliding, and swinging. I enjoy sitting in the warm sun, and watching these two get all of their energy out. I think we are going to freeze next week in Utah!

Uncle Jeff, this post is for you!

Hmmm, do you think we have future wrestlers in our house??

I don't know, but I do know there is no way around our boys having the urge to wrestle 24/7!
Uncle Jeff was a big time wrestler in high school, so maybe they will follow in his footsteps!
The point is, if you want in good with Ashton and Weston, then you'd better be prepared for a good ol' romp on the floor-complete with pulling, rolling and twisting.

But at the end of the day (or match) these two are the best of friends, and most likely will end each "wrestle" with a big hug and kiss!

For a good cause

Me and my sis will be here doing this on Thanksgiving morning (not in Syracuse like the banner in the picture says). The funds raised will benefit the Utah Food Bank and LDS Humanitarian Services. I am thankful to help in a small way with something that is so big, especially because I have so much. Thanks sis for runnin' with me... can't wait!
