Tommy and I had a fun 4th of July this year. We started our celebrations off with attending our ward picnic and just enjoying being with friends. Since we didn't have Ashton we wanted to do something we wouldn't have been able to do so we took the light rail downtown to the Rockies game and enjoyed dinner, baseball and some fireworks. The game was extremely long, but the Rockies won in the bottom of the 9th, 18 to 17. It was a great game, but we were very tired by the end. Being 9 months pregnant didn't really help too much either. We were glad that we went though and had a great time just being together. Ashton of course was having a blast too with my family, but fell asleep before the fireworks even started.

18 to 17--wow what an awesome game!
It's great that you guys are doing so many fun activities while Ashton is with you family!!
We're sorry that you couldn't make it out last week for the family reunion (Tommy was especially missed out on the golf course)--we'll have to make up for it next time!

So much fun! I have never been to a baseball game with that many runs. Wow! We're taking Ella to a Nationals' game when we are in DC. I have a bad feeling that we're going to regret it. I'll take a sling and hope she gets comfy...
