And the Koinobori- These fish are in celebration of children's day on May 5th!

Nishimachi does a book parade every April. The boys had their ideas picked out for a few months (Weston even had his laid out for a while!) and were excited for the big day.
All of the students and teachers looked great and the weather was beautiful!

Ashton gets baptized!

April 19th, 2015

Ashton's baptism day was really nice. Friends from church, primary and even a non-member friend came to support Ashton.
The primary president gave a really nice talk about baptism. Instead of going to the pulpit, she stood in front of Ashton and spoke right to him. She brought some gummy bears and called them "baptism bears". She spoke about the different things that we "bear" when we get baptized. It was really good.

Weston gave a talk on the Holy Ghost. He brought a birthday gift bag full of things to help Ashton remember that the Holy Ghost is a gift, and reminders of what the Holy Ghost does. The gift bag contained a heart to let him know that the Holy Ghost doesn't always speak to us, but sometimes leaves us with a feeling in our heart. Next was a Book of Mormon to represent the Holy Ghost only speaking the truth. Next was a mouth to remind him that the Holy Ghost speaks in a still small voice. Next was a candle to represent the Holy Ghost lighting a righteous path. Next was a book to show that the Holy Ghost was a teacher. Next was an ear to remind him that the Holy Ghost will always listen. And last there was a blanket to represent the Holy Ghost was there to comfort him.
It was a cute talk and Weston did a great job!
Tommy did a nice job baptizing and confirming Ashton.
We then had some dessert at the church and hurried home to have lunch with some friends.
It was a special day!

Easter 2015

I am one lucky girl!!

Getting the camera set up and on self timer mode. This is a good shot capturing our Sunday mornings!
Bell Family
Ashton-8, Cooper-3, Weston-6, Nixon-3 ( I love how everyone assumes that Cooper is the "older" twin because of his size. Even though the twins were born in the same minute, Nixon is technically older by maybe 10 seconds. I don't think we will ever tell them who is older).

We had a good Easter this year despite the rain. Of course today (Monday) the sun is shining and the temp is toasty and warm. Too bad it wasn't like this all weekend- Oh well!

Saturday we had a neighborhood easter egg hunt. Because of the rain, they had the younger age group move inside to the racket ball court. Ashton and Weston's age group was outside still. All 4 kids found a good amount of eggs and prizes! The twins loved the easter bunny and even tried to follow him into his "break room". Both Nixon and Cooper waited patiently right outside of the door they saw him disappear into. When he finally came out, they were ready to give him high fives. It was quite funny.

Because of the time change, we don't have conference weekend until following weekend after Easter. So we got to go to church on Easter. Of course the Easter Bunny left some treats for the boys in the morning.
