It's (almost) family vacation time !!

In exactly 3 weeks (2 days after school is out for the summer) we are hopping on a plane and headed to Guam! 7 days of fun in the sun at the Pacific Island Club resort. We are looking forward to our family vacation. They have a kids club at the resort so the boys can go play with other kids (and Tommy and I can go on some outings just us). They also have on sight babysitting for the twins ;)
Our swimsuits are ready and we can't wait!!

My Weston

My friend and I were talking the other day about our "middle children." Weston is definitely our middle child because he isn't the oldest and he isn't the twins. That being said, he is more to us than just that. He is our funny boy, our sweet boy. He loves to play with the twins and is their biggest cheerleader. He is a natural leader, and has many friends. Making friends is easy for him. Weston is very social and always has a "hi" for everyone. He is an athlete and an artist but his greatest skill is making paper airplanes-and they really can fly!

I can't believe that he will be 5 this summer. Where did those years go?
Weston is my buddy, my friend and thankfully my middle child.

Nishimachi Sports day 体育の日

The weather was great for sports day at Ashton's school!
I got a little nervous because the day before (thursday) was a shoot for Sony and the forecast called for rain. If it did rain, we would have to finish the shoot on Friday and he would have had to miss sports day. Luckily, the weather was nice  and it didn't start to rain until they were driving us back to Tokyo after Ashton's job had finished. We were very thankful!

Tommy was able to go with him and take all of these great pictures. I had a lunch to go to and couldn't go with them so I told Tommy to take a lot!
Ashton was on the white team and they won the tug of war game. They did races and relays and enjoyed the friendly competition. It was a really fun day for him!

A great Mother's Day weekend

Me and my big boys after church

Tommy's first mission home and church building

4 out of my 5 favorite guys....Just missing Daddy

I had a nice Mother's Day this year.
After church, we drove to see Tommy's first mission home and church building. It was fun to let him show us around and tell us a few memories. We went home and ate a yummy indian feast (curry, naan, chicken, safron rice)and then took a nice walk to a park to enjoy the warm weather.
Weston and I enjoyed a 2 hour nap after the park.
It was a very lovely day spent with the 5 most handsome boys! I am a lucky mama :)

The cutest cow ever!

Ashton's school assembly presentation was yesterday and he did great! It was based on the book 'The cow that went oink!' and he was the cow.
What I loved most about it was how happy he was with all of his friends. It was fun to see him in "school mode" but having fun with all of his peers.
They have been working on this presentation since January. It turned out very cute and Tommy, Weston and I were happy to share this event with him.

We have 4 boys...

Having kids is an adventure. Having ALL boys is an even bigger adventure! I think I will always be physically fit because every day I am literally running, chasing, climbing, wrestling and jumping (or doing karate!) with my kids. Not to mention throwing, kicking, batting and hitting different kinds of balls!
Our bed is a favorite for our boys to play on. I decided to capture some of the action today. Even the twins have been joining in on the fun! I grew up climbing trees, playing sports and catching lizards. Maybe that is why I have been blessed with my 4 boys!
How did I get so lucky to call them mine?!
