Cruisin' safely...and in style!

My family gave Ashton this bike for his birthday. It is by far his favorite toy, and he is on it about 80% of the day. While we were running our errands last weekend, we came across this helmet and thought it was as good of time as ever to teach Ashton the importance of wearing one. Although this bike has only been outside a few time (he rides it around our house thanks to our endless hardwood floors) and the need of wearing the helmet while he rides inside is not really necessary, he still insists on sporting it around. He even wears it when he's not riding. The helmet also came with knee pads, so he happily straps those on too, and cruises around carefully dodging his little brother. Weston has mastered the army crawl. This little kid can book it and follows Ashton on his bike EVERYWHERE.  He truly can't wait to do what Ashton can. 

Randomness

These boys of mine are crazy. They play so well together it's amusing to watch (and take pictures of). They have a frog tent in the playroom that they could spend HOURS in. I'm not joking. They giggle and roll around in it, and give me just enough time to snap a couple pictures before I'm kicked out. 

The pictures of Ashton are from the same day (before I changed them to go out to dinner). He had found one of my headbands, and came running up to me "MOM, MOM, MOM........take my picture". You know you must pull the camera out a lot when your little guy knows when you would want to get a picture of him. Little did we know it would leave little red dots across his forehead from the teeth on the headband-oops. 

Happy 5 year anniversary to us!

San Diego here we come!!

WOW! We had such a great time in San Diego. And the best part is that we'll be LIVING there in 5 weeks. Tommy and I had 9 whole days without the kids. It was so nice leaving them with my family knowing they were safe and sound. It truly made for a stress free/relaxing vacation. In addition to finding a house out there, we enjoyed sleeping in, eating out, going to movies, the beach, jet skiing, kite surfing, laying in the sun, relaxing, swimming, sight seeing, visiting with Tommy's wonderful Grandparents, and most of all just being together. 

We returned on Saturday night, and were able to spend Easter with my family. We also celebrated Tommy's birthday and my mom made a delicious carrot cake. It was so good to see the boys. Weston kept looking at me all night like "who are you?" Thank you family for spending your spring break with our boys. It made our trip so much easier, and I know they had so much fun with you guys!

 We are back from San Diego (more pictures to come) and the boys had a great time at Grandma and Grandpas house. Ashton and Weston dyed easter eggs (above) with everyone (Grandpa, Grammie, Shantel, Sharielle, Jameson and Alexa) and they turned out extremely cute. We got back from a successful house hunting trip in Cali and were able to spend Easter with my family. What a great day. The boys miss everyone already and it was sad to say goodbye. We are finally home and will be posting pictures from our trip soon.
