Looong walk!

Getting ready to go

The bumpy bridge

quick photo shoot :)

Must have worn Weston out!

I try and take the boys on a walk at least once a day. I think it's great exercise, and good to get out of the house. There are a few parks in our development one is a lot closer than the other, and the other one (the big park) is quite a ways a way. Not to mention at the bottom of a hill. For those of you who have been to my house you know which park is the "big park". Ashton really likes the play area at both but there aren't any swings at the closer park. I have set a goal to walk the boys at least once a week to the big park. I have kept this goal for 2 weeks now, and hopefully I can keep doing it until the weather changes. Coming home is the biggest challenge trying to push the little guys up hill but once I get home I feel great. My legs are sore, but I love the challenge and the smiles I get from Ashton once he see's the park in the distance.

I love this place!

This is our new favorite place, Lifetime Fitness. It seriously is the gym of all gyms. We took a tour of it on Monday and we were convinced. It is so family friendly and with 2 little kids that's important. Included in our membership is 2 hours of babysitting a day. So yes that means I can actually go workout during the day! No need to wait for Tommy to get home to watch the kids. There are pools galore, water slides, awesome workout equipment, tons of classes to join-I couldn't be happier!

24th birthday

My birthday dinner

Delicious cake

I had a great birthday this year. I got so many awesome gifts and got to spend the day shopping. On Friday night Tommy took me to a really nice restaurant called Prime 121 and it was really yummy. They had a live jazz band playing and the food was delicious! On Saturday we woke up and enjoyed shopping and lunch, then came home for naps. That night we all enjoyed a very good chocolate cake and some vanilla ice cream. Ashton especially loved the cake. Thanks for the great birthday!

Ashton a few weeks old

Ashton now

18 months ago you were so small and helpless and tiny. You came into our family a healthy 7.8 pounds and 19.5 inches. You had a head of strawberry blond hair, and big blue eyes.
Now you are older, bigger and wiser. You weigh 25.6 pounds and are almost 35 inches tall. You know so many words it's amazing. Your hair is still strawberry blond and your eyes have gotten bigger and bluer. You love trucks and oreos and your new little brother Weston. You are a great son and we love you. These past 18 months have been so fun, and we fall in love with you more and more each day. We look forward to the next 18 months and all the adventures to come!

Growing up fast

Weston is now a little over 3 weeks old, and boy has the time gone so quickly. It's been so fun having a new baby in our house, and Tommy is loving his 2 boys. We are trying to adjust to our new lifestyle and it's taking time, but we are enjoying it. The biggest challenge so far is trying to get out the door. Between getting me and the boys ready it takes a lot of organization, time and preparation. Ashton is still doing very well as a big brother. I've heard the horror stories of sibling rivalry but it doesn't exist here...yet. Ashton is so sweet to always kiss his brother and pat his back when he is upset. It seems like they have been friends forever. Weston is growing so big already. He has grown another inch and gained a little over 2 pounds, so we are happy for that. We are so thankful that he was sent to us happy and healthy. We couldn't imagine life without him.

Rub a dub dub, 2 boys in the tub!

Weston seems to love the bath (not quite as much as Ashton).

Ashton, Weston and I spent the last week in Wyoming with my family. Tommy had to go out of town so it was the perfect time to go. It was nice to see my parents new house, and let everyone meet Weston. Thanks to my family for all of your help and the fun time. Ashton definitely missed his daddy, and we are glad to be home!
