Summer has begun!!

Our summer has started out great and we've been up to so much. We've enjoyed the sun, bbq's, golf, pools and tons of fun. The weather has been wonderful and we can't wait to spend this time of year together!

Beach bum

Ok, so it's not the beach, but it's as close as we get here in Colorado. It has been a very warm week, and as much as I like our community pool, it's a little harder for me to take Ashton this year (32 weeks pregnant=no energy for the crowds and the pool). Last summer Ashton and I made it to the pool almost every day. I feel a little sad that this year we will spend less time there.
I decided to buy a little pool for our deck in hopes that it would please Ashton enough to substitute for the big pool...sure enough, he had a blast. I also let him choose some fun pool toys which included a boat and a watering can with some "tools". I definitely look forward to next summer with a one year old and a two year old to take to the pool. It will be crazy, but so much fun!

Last week Courtney and Shantel came to visit us for a few days. Ashton had a blast with them, and we had so much fun just hanging out. Shantel was able to come to Young Womens with me one night and Courtney and Tommy were able to play some rec. basketball and get some golfing in. We enjoyed good weather, and had a fun bbq their last night here. Thanks guys for coming to visit! We can't wait to see you again. We love You!!!!

30 weeks and counting!

Only 10 weeks to go!!! We are getting super anxious and excited for Weston's arrival. Yes we have 99% decided on the name Weston, and can't wait to see the little guy. We still have so much to do before he gets here. Tommy will be traveling non stop for the next month so that he can be here for all of July and after the baby is born. It will be crazy, but it will be nice when it's all done and we can spend time together as a family. We'll post another baby shot at 35 weeks.

Little man

Ashton is looking more and more like a little man everyday. Looking back at his baby picture it's hard to remember when he was that small. His little brother is due in about 2 and a half months and he is going to be a great big brother. He likes to pat my tummy and give it hugs and kisses. Hopefully that will continue when the baby actually gets here.
My sister Shantel and her boyfriend Courtney were here this past week for a visit. Check back soon for fun pictures of some highlights of their stay :)

Take me out to the ball game!

Tommy and I were able to take Ashton to his first baseball game yesterday afternoon. He absolutely loved it. He was so cute to clap and cheer when everyone else did, and when the music came on his dance moves came out! Tommy bought him some Cracker Jacks and they were a big hit. What's a baseball game without Cracker Jacks?! It started out as a rainy day, but as the game began the sun came out. We had a great time as a family and enjoyed spending the afternoon together in such a fun atmosphere. This will definitely not be our last baseball game! Oh, and the Rockies won! Go Rockies!

We had picked Tommy up from work to drive into the baseball game together. After we had dropped him back off to his car and were on our way home, we noticed he had a flat tire. Everything was going smoothly with the change until the rain decided to come back. Luckily we were almost done, and didn't get too soaked. Ashton was sound asleep in my car, so it made for an easy tire change (of coarse I didn't do much).

More bubbles and smiles!
Getting ready for a walk

Ashton was able to spend the last few days with his Grandma Bell. Even though it was a quick trip, we enjoyed many fun activities. Here are a few pictures of our adventures...

Hello?

Ashton likes to mimic Tommy and I a lot. The other day he found his daddy's phone and started jabbering away at it. By the time I got the camera, he was just about done and ready to find something else to play with. What a silly guy :)
